Apex Brewery started with a simple idea: make great beer and create a place where people actually want to spend their time. What began as a passion for brewing grew into a community gathering spot in the heart of Monroe, NY, where craft beer, good conversation, and a healthy amount of organized chaos all seem to work together. We take our beer seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously.
Every beer we brew is made right here on-site, blending traditional brewing techniques with a willingness to experiment. Some days that means a crisp lager inspired by classic European styles. Other days it means chasing bold hop character, aging beer in barrels, or seeing where an idea takes us. Whether you're a longtime craft beer enthusiast or just looking for something that tastes good after a long day, you'll find something on tap that was brewed with care and a little bit of curiosity.
What really makes Apex special, though, is the people. Our taproom is filled with hikers coming off the trails, locals catching up with friends, trivia teams defending their honor, dog owners stopping in for Yappy Hour, and first-time visitors who somehow end up feeling like regulars.
